The
World Equestrian Games are comprised of the world
championships for eight equestrian sports. The Games are
held every four years, two years prior to the Olympic
Games, and are governed by the Fédération Equestre
Internationale (FEI).
The
2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will represent
an unprecedented opportunity for the equine industry to
showcase itself, in a variety of ways, to spectators
from around the globe. Equine organizations such as
breed and discipline organizations, as well as others,
will have the opportunity to be prominently featured
during 2010 Games in the 2010 Alltech FEI World
Equestrian Games Equine Village.
The
non-profit National Walking Horse Association will
participate in the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian
Games Equine Village and in the Demonstration
Entertainment venue. On behalf of the National Walking
Horse Association we will produce the highest level of
demonstrations and entertainment so that we will be
artistically, technically, and commercially successful
in order to elevate the walking horse in America and
showcase the National Walking Horse Association.
The
National Walking Horse Association is asking for your
help with monetary donations or through volunteering
your time to staff the NWHA booth at the Equine Village.

Horse Association has selected the following equine
representatives for the 2010 World Equestrian Games:
Count on Spirit
O’Three/ Jennifer Batts – This team represents
great winning diversity, including English/Western
rail and Dressage. Owners- Gary and Jennifer Batts,

Master
Revelation/Melissa Davidson –Missy and “Petie”
have performed many exhibitions for NWHA and have many
honors including All Around Versatility Champion.

Dauberman – They bring with them a long history of
winning on the East coast and great team work between

Zone/Jason Crawhorn - This rising star in NWHA
competition creates a wonderful presentation of form
and movement between horse and rider. Owners- Lisa

Around/Lynn MacGregor – Lynn and Allen create a
horse/rider union in motion. They have represented

Chick/Allison Thorson – A top winning juvenile
team with beautiful motion and presentation by both

Hardcastles Prime
Sun/Gail Dockery – Presents a championship winning
team of the spotted walking horse with form and
presentation. Owner- Gail Dockery, Munger, MI
We feel these horses
and riders showcase the best of NWHA. They will present
an exciting and informative insight into the qualities
of our naturally gaited breed. Also, the principles for
which our organization, NWHA, was formed and continues
to promote. Please join us in supporting and celebrating
these outstanding naturally gaited horses to the World
Equestrian Games and to the world!
