CAPITAL CAMPAIGN INSURING NWHA’S MISSION

Hay there NWHA Members,

It’s about the horse ... Darn right it is and it’s about time you folks hear this straight from the horse’s mouth, the Naturally Gaited Walking Horse’s mouth. Throughout the last century I have carried you through crop rows, patiently carried your children and grandchildren at birthday parties, pulled your plows in the fields and your carriages to church. I’ve even carried generals into battle. I now carry you on pleasure rides both in and out of the show ring and all without complaint, even while sometimes enduring horrific treatment at the hands of dishonest people. Well, now it’s time for you to carry me to that “Ol’ Kentucky Home.”

On behalf of my fellow sound horses, I thank you for what you do to protect and promote me, the Naturally Gaited Walking Horse. I know how hard you’ve worked to eradicate the abuse happening to my less fortunate comrades; and it’s been no walk in the park. Now, thanks to NWHA, it really will be a walk in the park, the Kentucky Horse Park. My National Walking Horse Association has been welcomed, with open arms, into the heart of America’s horse country. We’re going to rub elbows with some of the world’s most respected breeds and rightfully assume our place as America’s own Naturally Gaited Walking Horse. Every year a million visitors will see our National Walking Horse Association’s name listed in the directory of Who’s Who at the horse park. Visitors will tour our office and maybe, one day, even visit with some of us living there as goodwill ambassadors. Imagine that! Whoa, whoa now, big fella’. I’m so excited about this Kentucky Horse Park thing that it’s hard to contain myself. Before I get myself into an all out running walk, let me tell you how you can help. You do agree it’s all about me, the horse, right? Ok, here’s what I need from YOU in order to continue with OUR mission …

I ask you from the bottoms of my sound and pain free feet to help me show the world “There IS a Difference.”

Please Download & Return the attached Commitment Card with whatever you can give. I, and my pasture buddies will be mighty happy knowing you care.

Happy Trails,

The Naturally Gaited Walking Horse
