New for the
2006 show season: Eligibility for a 2006 High Point award
requires horses to compete in a minimum of 3 NWHA shows
Points are
awarded based on placement in a class, and the number of
entries in the class. Points will be awarded to a horse, not
to a rider.
Individuals who place in a
class will receive 1/2 point for each horse they place over,
up to a maximum of

** If a
class has more that 3 entries, a bonus point is awarded to
the winner of the class in addition to the calculated
points.
Points are tallied by NWHA.
Individual participants do NOT have to turn in books or class
sheets or any other form or record. They just need to come
and show their horses to be entered in the program.
Individuals who ride at NWHA-affiliated shows who are not
members of NWHA are not eligible to receive points.
