Eligibility
for year end High Point awards requires horses to place in a
minimum of 3 NWHA shows held on different dates and in
different locations in the current show year.
In order for
your horse to be eligible for NWHA’s High Point Program, you
must nominate your horse annually. A nomination form and fee
of $20 per horse is required by the deadline of June 1st in
order for your horse to participate in the 2012 program.
Points will count retroactively from the beginning of the 2012
show season but all applications and fees must be postmarked
&/or received in the NWHA office on or before June 1, 2012.
The $20 nomination fee is per horse (not per division). This
fee allows your horse to compete for points in any class for
which it is shown. Applications can be found on our web site
at High Point Nomination Form
Questions regarding the nomination process or the High Point
Program can be directed to the NWHA office by calling (859)
252-6942.
Points are
awarded based on placement in a class, and the number of
entries in the class. Points will be awarded to a horse, not
to a rider.
Individuals who place in a
class will receive 1/2 point for each horse they place over,
up to a maximum of

Individual participants do NOT have to turn in books or class

and show their horses to be entered in the program.
Individuals who ride at NWHA-affiliated shows who are not
members of NWHA are not eligible to receive points. |
