An Internet service provided by National Walking Horse Association

Welcome to the NWHA Tracking Registry and Pedigree search database. This database was primarily compiled of data from NWHA shows and owners who have registered their horses. This database is designed as a helpful tool for researching many Walking Horses and is not meant as a complete database of all Walking horses or other gaited horses and their pedigree information.

Horses registered with the NWHATR appear with their registration number. NWHA championship titles are represented in red (NC-National Champion; NGC-National Grand Champion). If horses are not registered with the NWHATR, some fields will be blank or are indicated with "Not Available".

A photo can now be added to your horses NWHATR record. To add your horses photo email the photo & horses registered name to Debbie Nuding dnuding@yahoo.com

It only takes a few simple steps to display a horse. Good luck with your search!

Select the number of generations you will want displayed in the pedigree. For most computer printers printing in Landscape mode, 5 generations is the best choice.

Enter the name, or partial name, of the horse to search for.

If you use slow search, entering "Spir" will find all horses whose names contain the letters "Spirit", including all those containing "Spirits" or "Spirit's". Slow search is more thorough and accurate.

If you use fast search, you must provide a full word (not a partial word) for matches to show up; for example, entering "Spirit" will find all horses whose names contain the word "Spirit" but would not find those whose names contain "Spirits" or "Spirit's". For more successful searches, please use a word longer than 3 letters and omit any 's at the end.

Perform fast search by full word.
Perform slow search by partial word, full word, or multiple words.
Click on the "Search Now" button below. This will begin the search. The database is quite large, so do not be alarmed if it takes a minute to see the list of matches.
