A fun event designed to promote the versatility of the
gaited horse. Includes an ACTHA ride to benefit
therapeutic riding. Also, a Dressage Clinic and a
Musical Freestyle Class. Other events are: Dressage
(choice of NWHA or FOSH tests), Trail Obstacle, Reining,
Western Riding, Barrels, and Poles. Hi Point Divisions
are Youth, Pleasure, and Open. Youth and Pleasure will
be adapted to 2-gait horses; Open will canter. Prizes to
Hi Point winners in each division and an overall Hi
Point Trophy will be given. Enter online at

This clinic will provide an overview of basic dressage
training methods to help develop communication between
horse and rider, and also develop the horse’s ability to
use its muscles and improve its gait. This clinic will
also provide the basics for individuals that wish to
start showing Tennessee Walking horses in the dressage
division at NWHA shows as well as open schooling shows.
The instructor, Ms. Mary Werning, will work with
beginners as well as advanced dressage participants.
