New Youth Award for 2011 Nationals!
You could be the first recipient of the new Pine Rock Farm
Youth Rail Championship Award! This award will be a
perpetual trophy (given each year to be returned for the
following year’s National). Participation in all rail
classes during The National will accumulate points for each
Youth/horse team. The winner will be announced on Saturday,
October 1, during our High Point Presentations. Special
thanks to the Monahan Family of Pine
Rock Farm in Kittrell, NC for sponsoring this award.

As you know, Alaina Parsons is a busy college student. Sadly,
she has had to resign her Youth Committee Chair position in
order to meet all of her school obligations. NWHA and all of
our Youth "thank" Alaina for her wonderful service to our
association. Hope to see you back working with the Youth
again soon, Alaina! And, best of luck in your studies!
And, "thank you" too, to Margaret Hershberger who has
graciously stepped into the role of Youth Committee Chair.
Margaret and the Committee will be sure to plan some cool
things
for us.
